Shea Quest ~ Or Shea's Adventure in Gensokyo

Oh shoot, what to say, what to sa-

>"These cherry blossom trees are beautiful, aren't they?"
<"Ah, yes. They are."

You wait a bit in case she wanted to add anything, but she doesn't.

You appear to be approaching a building, but you can't make out anything yet.

The fog seems to have lessened though.

TT~TT Youmu, why are you so cold to me?

She nods and leads you up to the door. The mansion itself is very opulent yet it seems as if it grew there, as if it was always there.

You frown slightly and wonder if that's possible...

She kneels and slides the screen door open.

<"My lady, I have returned."

A new voice answers her.

<"Oh, Youmu. I wasn't expecting you back so soon, who is that with you?"

She sounds so cool~

-Do you wish to interject here or let Youmu answer?-

<"Ah yes, Lady Yuyuko. This person seems to have come up the stairs. I believe it's safe to assume that since she is alive, Lady Yukari may have left her there"

<"Oh, maybe she did mention that..."

Yuyuko sounds kinda out of it. But then again she was kind of like that in the games wasn't she...?

<"Oh Youmu! Why don't you invite her in? It must be dreadfully boring just standing out there."

<"Of course! Please come inside"

She says that last part as she stands up and bows to you.

You ':\' for a second, but Youmu misses that expression completely. She isn't as cold as before, at the very least...

You glance around the room and see that it's rather small, there must be many others like it in this mansion.

You enter and bow a bit clumsily, and utter a bit nervously.

>"Um, my name is Shea L-Lady Yuyuko."

<"You don't have to be so formal." She responds, and you straighten up slowly.

She has such a warm smile, you feel like you can melt! And those breas-

<"Feel free to take a seat, Shea."

You do so, hastily breaking your chain of thought.

Youmu bows to Yuyuko again.

<"Lady Yuyuko, I will bring some refreshments. Yuyuko simply nods in response.

>"Oh she did? Did she tell you anything else? Like WHY I'm here?"

She brings up a sleeve-covered hand to hide her face and you hear a giggle.

<"Oh, no. She doesn't like to tell others what she's planning."

Weird she seemed different for a moment when you asked. Maybe it was your imagination.

>"So does it get lonely here without any visitors?"

She smiles

<"Oh, you don't need to worry about me, I have freinds who drop in quite often. And then, of course, there is Youmu~"

As she finishes, the door slides open again.

<"Lady Yuyuko, I brought the snacks along with tea."

You can smell the tea from here, it might be jasmine...

She sets the tea pot on a small rack, and lays down a platter of small cookies next to it. She then sets three small cups down and fills them for you.

You accept it with a warm smile and try a sip, it is indeed jasmine.

You feel a little proud of yourself.

>"Mmmm, this is delicious Youmu, thank you."

She nods.

You eat a cookie, so warm and yummy~

>"These are delicious, you must be very skilled to have made these all by yourself~"

She appears to... blush a little. Wat.

<"I agree Youmu, these are much better than the last ones~"

Oh and it deepens. Thanks for the double team Yuyuko!

Oh, she's hiding her face, that's so cute~

You make as if to take a sip of your tea, but really you're just hiding the grin you have.

>"So it really is just the two of you here? I can't imagine that; where I come from there are so many people everywhere"

Youmu just nods while Yuyuko says,

<"Well, yes. But we do have guests sometimes. And ever once in a while we'll go to a party.~"

Youmu seems relieved at the sudden change in topic.

This is amazing and fantastic! Gensokyo is awesome!

>"Oh, right, what should we do about my, er... Yukari-based problem?"

Youmu frowns, and Yuyuko giggles.

<"There isn't much to do about it. You could always go and speak to the Hakurei Shrine Maiden. She may be able to take you to Yukari. But, if she wants to avoid you, you'll have a tough time finding her."

You frown, dammit, you should have figured as much.
